This is an original painting on stretched canvas of a rural scene in Santander, Colombia.

Karen learned painting from her Aunt Stella. Stella is mostly self-taught but also painted with David Manzur, an accomplished Colombian painter and two-time Guggenheim Fellowship recipient. Stella and Karen have a studio in Bogot�, Colombia. Works are primarily oil on canvas, although oil on wood and other media are also used. If you like what you see, Stella and Karen are available for commission to paint something for you, to your own taste and requirements.
